“The Journey“ of Nashville Cricket Association, an article written by Srimanth Brindavanam and assisted by Srivatsan Pallavaram has been published in Jan Darpan magazine.

A monthly magazine published from Brentwood, TN and distributed free of cost through out the states of Alabama, Arkansas, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Missouri, Mississippi , Ohio and Tennessee and other neighboring states. It is also mailed to subscribers across the US.

The 2008 season was a memorable season for all the players who were part of it. As NCA claimed their TCL championship for the very first time. This season we begin the journey as the “Champions” and every session is a step towards our goal of reclaiming the Championship.

We are going to start our first session of 2009 season this Saturday at 1.15 pm.

Let’s be on time to follow the below mentioned schedule.

1.15 to 1.30 pm : Mat set up

1.30 pm to 1.45 pm : Team photo session (please come in your white’s , this picture will be published in “Jan Darpan” magazine) members who have outdoor chairs please bring along.

1.45 pm to 2.00 pm : Few words by the Captain

2.00 pm to 3.00 pm : Net Session

3.00 pm to 5.00 pm : Practice Game

5.00 pm to 5.30 pm : Pizza time ( Please mention veg/ meat in google doc)

Cricket Season Kick Off Party!

We officially kicked off the cricket season on March 7th with a grand celebration party. We had a few surprise announcements regarding the sponsorships. Things are starting to look better if not good for our cash-stripped club. Few more announcements to be made with regards to sponsors in the next couple of weeks, stay tuned! We welcomed this new season with a fantastic dance performance on the inspirational song – Chale Chalo! from Lagaan. Following is the starcast for the performance :
